This is not Universal Health Care we are talking about even with a Public Option so other than the fines and new taxes what other great things is this health care bill going to do?
would it not just be better to scrap this bill and just let people buy into Medicare?

There is no improvement of health care services in any of the bills pending before Congress. The bills are a power grab on the part of Obama and his minions. They want to take over control of health care and health insurance because of the huge amounts of money involved.
Medicare is a bad idea. It is socialism with major screw ups. Workers have to pay taxes to fund the program. Seniors get way more benefits than what they pay for. Medicare part A is free to Seniors. Medicare part B is $96 per month. There are supplemental plans that are free. Now where do you expect to get complete health care coverage for $96 per month in premiums?
Yes.
It would be best.
But the repugnantz don’t want you to have health care.
They want you to PAY for insurance.
The entire purpose of the health insurance industry is to make you pay them to prevent you from seeing a doctor.
And they’re damn good at it.
