During the first three months of 2012 alone, state lawmakers introduced 944 provisions related to reproductive health. Fully half of those were restrictions making it harder for a woman to end a pregnancy. These include mandatory, invasive ultrasounds, like the one enacted in Virginia, and even laws that allow your employer or pharmacist to deny you access to birth control. Some politicians are trying to restrict your access to reproductive health care — that’s a fact.
