There are none a sane person would scrutinize.
You will be fined by the IRS for not having health insurance. If you have a refund coming they can seize it. The will monitor you month by month. They are currently hiring 2,000 people to enforce this.
The main concern seems to be that sick people will get health care – so that will drive up the cost.

i think you’d be better served asking what’s good about it. that would be a harder question to answer. I’d say the #1 concern should be that this bill was written by the insurance companies. Anyone who doesn’t think that well…i’m sorry about your lack of competence.
It’s a matter of time (and not long i’m guessing) that we’ll realize how stupid this bill really is. Doctors won’t like it, patients won’t like it, but Obama likes it so it’s all good.
For those of you who make a good amount of money i’m sorry you will have to foot the bill for poor people to have insurance. It’s not fair and it sucks. Try not to get sick America because remember your care is going to be rationed.
Oh yeah the government will also put a cap on money going to special clinics i.e. cancer research centers. Hope you weren’t waiting for a cure because the government will decide it’s not worth the money to fund research for something that keeps more sick people on earth. Soon our death by cancer rates will be more in line with Europe where there is less treatment and research.

Bad things:
30 million more citizens will be insured, if they didnt have HC to begin with its their own fault.
Less sick people which may lead to more productive days at work, a healthier work force may result in higher worker retention.
Longer life spans from a healthier population, the longer people live the more money those old farts cost to take care of.
Insurance companies can’t arbitrarily drop people for overuse, this will affect the bottom line of all Health Insurance companies and will result in less bonuses, executive perks, stock options will suffer, stockholders will be angry and Health Insurance lobbyists in Washington will be replaced with monkeys.
Subsidies to the poor will result in parents only having to work 2 jobs each (instead of 3 or 4) to make ends meet so they can afford health insurance for their kids AND buy groceries. The obvious drawback to this will be the possibility of parents spending more time with their children with a greater awareness of what their kids do and a possible drop in crime as a result.
I don’t know the list of bad things, however a note to all the liberals who think the American people want socialized medicine:
If you believe Americans want this bill, fine. Let’s see if it is true, and then we will all shut up. Put the bill on HOLD until the November elections. Have the question on the ballot machine, “Do you want the Healthcare bill to go through, yes or no”. Whatever the outcome, then that is what you move forward with.
The president swears Americans want this, good, then PROVE it with a vote. He won’t though, because he is lying, and because guess what, “he does not CARE about us”. It is all about power and control. If it weren’t, then he’d have no problem holding it until the people of America vote.
