Read it closely. Pay special attention to the part about “common defence”, and the next 4 words after that.
Actually, this is a Republic, not a democracy. But, what the hell, let’s change that too! It’s really more of a guideline than a rule…

Alright back up there. Who defines what ‘better’ is? No one; which is why we have a democracy so the majority can have their way. I love how you compare apples to oranges, and even bring in totalitarianism. Why would anyone in their right mind toss aside speech or the right to a fair trial? No one. This is a democracy.
So again, I ask you, why stick strictly to the constitution while we can exist as a democracy without one?
So who defines what “better” is? Order and submissiveness is better, right? Totalitarian control accomplishes this in a prison, but I’m not to keen on it in a free society.
This country was founded as a response to oppressive, intrusive government interference. These are our principles. Which other’s get tossed aside because someone thinks it’s better? Speech? Right to fair trial?
So, to answer your question: I care!

Understand that the “CONSITUTION” is not supreme law of the universe. It’s a great document but you must be absurd to think that it has permanence, if there’s a change to make the nation better but it’s not defined in the Constitution, who cares? It doesn’t make sense.
If you do not like it why do you watch?

Budget: The CONSTITUTION requires the Federal gov’t to provide ‘a common defence”, NOT health care, or education, or any other states responsibilities.

This show is not fair and Balanced at all. This guy sticks up for acorn. I can’t believe this guy just rips on fox news in almost all of his episodes but never sais anything at all about msnbc at all. He calls out all these conservatives and smears them but never has anything bad at all to say about liberal media. This Guy lives in a world where all Republican Politicians are morons and the Democrats are perfect. This Guy is the biggest hypocrit ever.

While I enjoy The Young Turks videos I am very very curious as to why they named themselves after a group who sided with the central powers in WWI. They also slaughtered hundreds of thousands if not millions of Christian Armenians in Turkey in a disgusting Religious and politically motivated genocide. I sincerely hope this is just a coincidence. Does anyone know? Please reply.

Shona wasnt denied coverage. She went to a wait list (it was 6 months) to remove a benign cyst. It was non-life threatening medical condition. She instead made exaggerated claims about it being a tumor/neoplasm etc.
