Question by pamcarter: Does anyone find it embarrassing to live in a state that wants to repeal the health care bill?
It’s embarrassing to live in an outdated and behind the times state that wants to repeal the health care bill! For the first time in my life my state has made me ashamed to claim living here. In fact most of the people in the state WANT to move out of the 18th century and have care for all it’s people. How can one or two people defy what the majority wants?

Question by : Would this be a workable compromise with Republicans who want to repeal the health care law?
As a Liberal I even agree with Republicans that there is something wrong with forcing people to purchase health insurance.

I would gladly see the health care law repealed in exchange for one concession from the republican party. And this is it.

Allow those of us who buy private health insurance, those who are unable to buy health insurance due to pre-existing conditions and those who are not happy with employer based insurance to form
a Public Option Insurance Company.

This Public Option would be voluntary and open to those who wanted to go this route. The rest of you can stay put if you like your current plan.

How about it?

Of course not.
If you agree with the Republicans on something, then you must be racist, honey.

A couple of weeks ago, the Supreme Court confirmed that the President’s health care law imposes the single largest permanent tax increase in history. Worse, nearly half of this regressive tax will hit the struggling middle class. Add more than 13000 pages of new health care regulations – so far – and it’s easy to see why President Obama’s economy doesn’t create jobs. It’s too busy creating government. We need a new direction, but at every step, the Senate stands in the way. The Solution? Repeal this harmful law so we can get to work putting America back to work.
