Question by rebelchild: obama vs. mccain with universal health care?
what is obama’s universal health care against mccains??

Best answer:

Answer by acwildes
Universal health care will raise everybody’s taxes so that the government can provide your healthcare. That is not the role of government. Government’s role is to protect its citizens, not give everyone health care. I pay enough taxes and don’t want to pay more for health care for anyone else.

Question by BekindtoAnimals22: How bad will the insurance coverage get under the Affordable Health Care Act? Mine just keeps getting worse?
Its now been changed to only cover 70% rather than 80%. The copay and deductible are higher. The notification said that the company I worked for was being pressured to reduce costs due to the Affordable Health Care Act. So now I guess I need a supplemental health insurance policy. I guess that looks better on Obama’s statistics but it sure doesn’t help the people who need insurance. How does that save me money? Why does anyone support this bill? It stinks.

Much worse than it has been even under Clinton’s managed care. Expect services and treatment to be further cut, as well. Pretty soon, we’ll all be standing in line at Wal-Mart for our yearly exams. I sometimes wonder if Clinton’s legislation, which he, also, promised would give us lowered costs and better care, wasn’t a set up to turn things so bad that the naive would call uncle. One thing is for sure, Clinton created such a mess that it now needs to be fixed on OUR behalf. No doubt that Bill’s promises fell flat. Expect the same out of Obama. Liberals are transparently dishonest.

Question by PepsiJoy: best health insurance?
Im looking for a great health insurance. One that is reasonable with cost. My location is kansas if it matters.

Best answer:

Answer by Bill
Those that appear reasonable usually do not provide very much coverage. The lower the price the higher the deductible which means you pay a larger portion(sometimes all) of the treatment. I suggest you meet with an agent that is licensed to handle ACA policies as they can explain the best type of policy for your needs. Good Luck

Question by Nobody: Has competition helped make health care affordable in the US?
According to Paul Ryan,Republican VP candidate,Medicare needs some competition in the form of private insurers to keep it from going bankrupt. I have not used Medicare yet,but I have plenty of experience with competitive insurance, and all I have seen is costs going through the roof. What do you think?

Some answers here suggest elimination of insurance,at least the government sponsored kind, would solve the cost problem. But many other countries have government sponsored health insurance plans with mandates and their costs are much lower than in the US. What gives? Why is the US in such a quandary about this issue? Are we really this dense,or is the problem so out of hand that it is unsolvable now?
