Sunesis Pharmaceuticals Inc. said Wednesday it received a $ 1.5 million payment from Biogen Idec Inc., its partner in developing immune system drugs.

Braintree man convicted of $1.5M Medicare fraud
A federal jury convicted a Braintree man on April 9 of defrauding Medicare of $1.5 million during a one-year period. Kingsley Tochukwu Eze, 31, the owner of Kings Enterprize in Quincy, was convicted of making a false statement and 10 counts of fraud. He could face up to 10 years in prison and will be sentenced on July 26.
