No one ever says it, but Health Care Reform has always been about
Group A: Who have decent quality health care they can afford
Group B: Who don’t

All the talk and scare tactics (Communism, Death Panels, etc)have been directed at Group A, implying that there isn’t enough care to go around for everybody, so screw the Bs, to the extent they’re mentioned at all.(usually not)
Ignored is the fact that real reform (if it happens) will lower costs for most everyone, even those with private insurance, while also putting affordable(NOT FREE) care in reach for many more people.
I’m not sure how this is a bad thing, can someone explain?
Also, Medicare, Medicaid, and the VA are all ‘government-run healthcare’, this just extends that to more people. If you have Blue Cross, or Kaiser, or whatever, you aren’t included, so how are you hurt by it? Leave out the smears, insults, and slogans and just lay it out…
Wow Brian, you just made my point. Those are scare tactics. It’s not FREE! evrybody will have to pay! Illegals are NOT eligible!
You’re saying there aren’t enough health care services for everyone, so some should go without. What kind of evil thing is that?! You’re obviously a ‘Group A’ person and want t keep everyone else out. How selfish, how un-American!

Do some research into other countries that have systems like this. While it may lower the direct cost to you and me, we will pay for it in the end with a 65 billion dollar a year price tag for tax payers. Not to mention that everyone will be paying for free health care for illegal immigrants and everyone else. It will lower the quality of care for everyone because the offices and hospitals will be over run with patients and there are not enough doctors or offices to accommodate so service will be rationed and you will have to be put on a wait list for almost every major procedure. It is already like this in canada and europe. There are alot of Canadians who travel in to america just to get a sugary or some other procedure now because of the reasons already listed. You also mentioned Medicare and Medicaid, both of which are gov. run and both of which have been on the brink of bankruptcy along with social security and the postal service. If the gov. cant run these effectively why would they do any better with the heathcare system?
