See Mitt Romney Promote an Individual Mandate
Popular Posts:
- Medicare Tax? Health Care for the Elderly? Let’s look at the facts about the proposed Medicare Tax … and a medical care program for the aged that already exists! What’s the hurry here? The supporters of the proposed Medicare Tax would have you believe that passage of this controversial bill is urgent … that persons over 5 are deprived of needed medical care because they can’t pay for it. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Kerr-Mills Law, passed by Congress in 1960 – enabled individual states to guarantee to every elderly person who needs help the health care he or she requires. We call this health program … Health Opportunity for the Elderly. Thousands of people every day are being helped by its generous benefits. And unlike Medicare, which would substantially increase your Social Security Tax payroll deductions, existing programs are being paid for now by a part of your present tax dollar! Medicare? NO. Health Care for the Elderly? YES! ….. 1964 American Medical Association Ad, A5157.

ALAN KEYES 2012!!!! True change, true hope, true “first” FULL black President!
Screw that globalist, elitist, moderate, liberal, co-conspirator, war criminal, nut job Bush! Obama is boring…& maybe dangerous himself.
Repubs are a joke!!!
LOL, haha, that is too funny, now he is on a campaign across America to say how terrible mandates are. This guy is a joke!
Romney is a remorseless flip-flopper that should be hated by those on the left and the right. Politicians have no fucking integrity.
Anyone surprised about Mittens talking out of both sides of his …? And then it finally came up in print at the end of the video: Mitt the hypocritical bender of facts.
Sounds like Romney is an enthusiastic supporter of the new Health Care Law.
@tishhead Also John Holdren: Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
He co-authored the 1977 book Ecoscience.
The book contains the following quote:
“population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution.”
It also includes other population control ideas like putting sterility drugs in the water supply.
He never renounced these ideas until they were uncovered in 2009, after his appointment
@tishhead Van Jones: Special Adviser for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
Jones is an admitted communist. He also organized Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM) and he signed a 9/11 truther petition.
After news of his past came out, he resigned from his high level position, but after leaving, he has been embraced by the Left.
He is currently senior fellow at the liberal Center For American Progress.
@tishhead It’s not a fatally flawed case. It’s pretty well documented that individual members of the mainstream media (not just the reporters) are overwhelmingly liberal. But that does only describe why the stories have a liberal spin.
The fact that the stories have a liberal spin was documented in the UCLA study.
The UCLA study focused on the actual stories that were produced. It concluded that the vast majority of news outlets produced more liberal stories than conservative ones.
@tishhead If you don’t accept anyone’s statement as fact without documentation, then where is the documentation that lead you to believe that Obama had faced more threats than any other president?
@tishhead Bush was called the antichrist on many liberal blogs and rallies.
A majority of vast majority of Republicans believe that Obama is a natural born citizen.
In fact, more Republicans believe that Obama is a natural born citizen than Democrats believed that Bush was actually elected president.
Every party has it’s crazies, but I don’t focus on the Democrats that don’t believe Bush was legitimately elected because I know that’s only a minority of the party.
@tishhead First of all, brandishing a gun is much different than just carrying one.
As to your other points, I agree that Joe Wilson was wrong to shout out “you lie” to the president. So do the Republican leaders who condemned his actions.
I haven’t heard Republicans booing any Democratic president at a SOTU.
Again, Rick Perry doesn’t support secession.
Also, Joe Wilson was just one guy. Dozens of Democrats booing the president without any apology is different.
@tishhead Again, your’e missing whole conservative point with the Bauchmann thing. Conservatives aren’t against service. We are against the government telling people when, how, and where to serve.
I’ll have to double check and see how fact check explains it.
@phillip84109 that had nothing to do with section 1233. free market rules will never apply to insurance because insurance companies want to AVOID many customers. competition works when companies are trying to get as many customers as possible. insurance cos. want to pick and choose leaving the poor and old and sick to fend for themselves.
@phillip84109 give me a name of an open communist and we can discuss it. even if it’s true, that is still not advocating or even contemplating a specific act against the country. beck and napolitano have suggested, if not, advocated for secession. do you recall olbermann or maddow or michael moore or sean penn doing likewise?
@phillip84109 i actually didnt see bush called an antichrist but i wouldnt dispute that some did. i doubt if at any pt though that a quarter of dem party BELIEVED it. or that a majority believed that bush wasn’t an american, or that he wasn’t the religion he said he was.
calling someone a liar at a rally IS different than saying it on the floor of congress. that specifically violated their corde.
@phillip84109 i have heard members of both sides boo at state of union. however, applauding disrupters on the floor — unprecedented. shouting you lie in a joint address — unprecedented. open talk of secession and revolution by office holders — unprecedented in modern times. protesters brandishing guns at presidential appearances — unprecedented.
@tishhead You’re proving my point for me about rationing of health care.
My point (and that of the Republicans) is that the free market will lead to less scarcity of medical services than government control.
@tishhead I do think a sitting gov contemplating secession is dangerous.
I also think that Rick Perry is wrong about Tex having a right to secede.
I still think what he said has been mischaracterized.
Obama has some people with more extreme views in his administration. He might not be a communist, but he has open communist working in his administration.
That’s just facts.
Do you think it’s dangerous for a president to have communists in his administration?
@tishhead Bush was also called an antichrist by many on the Left. He was also called a fascist. Is that okay with you?
You seem to be okay with Maxine Waters calling Bush a liar or when the many Dems booed Bush at the State of the Union, but have all this outrage when one single Republican member of Congress yells something out on the floor of the House.
The Republican leadership condemned Joe Wilson. Did the Democratic leadership condemn Maxine Waters?
@tishhead Of course you don’t think it’s the same. That would go against the narrative that you believe.
When one guy from the Tea Party does something, you say it’s “an angry mob”. Buy when you see liberals behaving badly, it’s just “5 or 6 people”.
When the Tea Party goes on Capitol Hill, they’re an “angry mob”, but when the anti-war protesters do it, they’re “lobbying”.
Democrats have also disrupted congress. They also booed GW Bush in his 2005 State of the Union address.
@tishhead on bachmann, factcheck reports there was NEVER a provision for mandatory service in the bill. there was a provision in the house bill only to STUDY the idea. feel free to defend her though. interesting that her kid signed up for the corps even after momma’s rant.
@phillip84109 everyone who makes this fatally flawed case always talks about reporters, who i have no doubt do lean fairly hard to the left. that does NOT equal a liberal media. it’s like saying GM is a liberal corporation because the line workers are liberal. look at what’s reported. again if you want to go offline, i have huge mountains of evidence that says you are way, way, way wrong.
@phillip84109 there were no statistics, just a denial and a generality, months after the initial report. which is not to say it’s wrong. i just don’t accept anyone’s statement as fact without documentation.
