Insurers ostensibly exist to share risk among similar people. This benefits all participants by giving them a means to spread the cost of random maladies among many people, and over time.
Unfortunately, insurers do a poor job of this. They have expanded coverage to include routine healthcare and illnesses that are the direct result of individual choice. Today, health insurers mostly subsist on people’s irrational fears, special tax benefits and the fact that they are subsidized by employers.

Further all curriculum is decided by the Dept. of Education according what is to be taught & how it is to be taught to young minds. this is to much power by 1 agency. Guess what? Do you know who had most control over this entity since the 60′s when it was created? If you guessed Democrats you win the prize.
They also currently behind to support of the indoctrination of our kids Sept 8, 2009 through obama’s speech. I wish people would wake up.

I also would like to add the need to seriously abolish the Dept. of Education. They run the teachers unions and have terribly messed up our education system by grading on a curve passing ones who really shouldn’t pass. What needs to happen is the schools need to be run by each individual state. This is another prime example how the federal government has grown to powerful since President FDR.

How can I argue your statement? Point being I much rather see a real serious start to either tort or insurance reform. How about both? Both parties are afraid to even go there. Don’t you think logically that would be the best thing for all Americans to make health care truly more affordable? Instead of more government bureaucracy that you know will only continually expand beyond the realms of sustainability to all. Just like Social Security, Medicare.

even with tort reform insurance companies do not do the right thing their are 5 states with caps and the insurance have not come down on rates

Everything is about her, when I’ve confronted her about how Democrats played the race card against the Clintons and McCain/Palin she said she never saw it and made it about her alleged personal attacks. She pulled the same B.S. when I told her about Pelosi and Dems. calling town hall protesters Nazis, thugs, Un-American, etc. she claimed she’d been called names too.
