Here’s a true story for you. I had a friend who worked for JPL at Cal Tech. He was well paid all his working life. He retired at 68. The following year, he had a stroke. Promptly at 70, his health insurance carrier cancelled his insurance. His widow, because he died at 71, was left with $1.26million dollars in medical bills. The owned two homes. She had to sell both to pay off the bills. That is how the system you had worked!
I live in a country with universal health care. I don’t know what lies you are told, but I can tell you it works superbly, BECAUSE most doctors and nurses are professionals and taxes support the system. I paid for it throughout my working life. Now that I am retired, aside from the taxes paid on my pensions, it is totally free: doctors, hospital, physio, prescriptions. I had knee replacements last year–perfect. Totally free! You should be happy about Obama’s bill!

It’s obvious from your many ignorant rants here that you don’t care about this country or anyone but yourself. I’m positive the day your insurance co refuses to pay your hospital bill or excludes you for a pre-existing condition, or raises your premium beyond your ability to pay, you’ll suddenly be very interested in health care reform. Sadly, you’ll still be a self-centered idiot.
