In Rose Garden remarks, President Obama said his health care reform would be the most significant effort to reduce the deficit since the balanced budget act of the 1990′s.

Why are they so eager to force this legislation? If the majority of tax paying Americans don’t want it, they should back off. Just another way to redistribute wealth from those who work to those who don’t in my opinion . If they were serious about doing some good, they should limit the outrageous lawsuits that drive the cost of medical care and insurance up. But that might limit attorney incomes as well. Can’t have that now.
@medartist01 McVey worked for the CIA so I guess I’m out.
The Republicans are just as bad as the democrats.
That is why the wars are STILL going on and they are bigger now than they were before.
You can stay in BLAME GAME dream land but I know the truth.
The national debt is 2x the amount you mentioned earlier so there once again is NO DIFFERENCE!
midevalcheese, it’s time for you to leave this country. We don’t need any more Timothy McVeys, any more anti-American, anti-Constitution, anti-Government wingnuts. These Republicans, who in 8 short years doubled the National Debt to $12 trillion, birthed 2 failed, unpaid-for, ongoing wars, that they chucked to the next guy to fix, trashed the entire economy of the US and the world, and put tens of millions out of their homes, jobs, AND FAILED to protect us on 9/11. Get the hell out. Losers.
@ed2kou1 ugh!!!!!!!!
that is what we were talking about. Something needs to be done with the healthcare issue especially to deal with the “illegals,” but while everyone is complaining about the cost and other things that are irrelevant, we need to pay attention to the fine lines and porks that are attached to this bill. The concept is great, but the execution……I don’t trust.
Anyone who thinks that you can create a billion dollar bill. Then you can save billions. YOU HAVE TO BE HIGH
Do you mind paying for illegals?
You do realize they go to the emergency room, for s running nose.
They help bankrupt the hospitals.
Now we’re paying for it
Seriously. This is the change he was talking about.
You don’t even realize he’s destroying the country!
Hell if they can do the slaughter rule for this.
Why not for illegal aliens.
Why not make BHO president for life!
@Discernaoftruth I appreciate your opinion as well.
Thanks.
don’t get me started on that! I think we need healthcare, but if people don’t read the fine lines and understand the agenda of the arbitrary “they”, we as a nation will end up getting hood-winked.
)
I just hate it when people say unintelligent things like, “how are we going to pay for it,” without doing the research. Instead of thinking for themselves, people look to radicals for what they think. Sad but true. Thank you for the intellectual response and conversation. Don’t get that nowadays
President Obama thanks for fighting for the American people!
@Discernaoftruth
I agree with your vision of good healthcare.
This bill is NOT what you are looking for.
Really if you think abou the BIG picture (75% de-population by the year 2012) then of course tax payed abortions will be in the bill.
Forced vaccinations as well.
Think about it.
@MrFreedomdemocracy
Glen Beck is on the same side as the prez.
He is just “controlled opposition” so that the REAL ones that make the decisions will STAY in power.
We have been tricked into believing that there is a difference between the Republicans and the Democrats.
That is why every prez is such a let-down to everybody when they actually get into office.
That is why nothing ever changes.
They aren’t in charge!
@SuperKixxx
That illegals will get “free” healthcare without having to pay taxes.
NOT a lie.
If you do research on the way our money is spent, most money goes to Healthcare, and military. When someone goes to a hospital, and don’t pay their bill, that hospital can seek money and who pays for it.
But if everyone has healthcare, and it is some management that prevents us from paying $7 for a little box of hard tissues that stratch your nose, then all of that money can line up.
I fine with whatever as long as I’m not paying for some hot in the tail little girl to get an abortion.

let me try for the third time and see if the publish the comment. This bill force the Insurance companies to use 85% of the money they get into real services and not into premiums, salaries, bonuses and whoopie woop buildings. In UHC the money they collect in taxes, which is 100th of the money you pay in premiums, go directly into services whichout the middle man to be paid. YOU SAVE TONS OF MONEY!!!
Why this new YouTube doesn’t allow you to make comments?
If you read the bill, Insurance comapies have to provide 85% of the money they get in premiums into services. In UHC the taxes you pay go straight into services because there are no Insurance companies with big salaries and bonuses and whooptie woop buildings to pay. 90% of the health care money in the US toiday is NOT used for health care and this increse costs.
@MrFreedomdemocracy
I agree. If it was IN the bill then I would feel different about this legislation.
The fact that the prez and speaker of the house are SOOO nervous about this and acts like they are trying to rush this thing into a law just confirms to me that something is jacked up with the bill.
AND if the coverage is so good then why won’t the Congress and the prez be using the same system they are so ready to shove onto us?
@midevalcheese
the illegal are overcrowding the hospitals now. If they could pay health care (which is not even in the bill) the cost of their cures wouldn’t be on you as it is right now.
Finally. In Europe I paid taxes which are 100th of the premiums I pay in the US for ZERO services. I could save money and have 5 weeks holidays and 1 nice job. Here I have to struggle following the mood of the fascist corporation monopoly pimps and their GOP and BLUE dog Democrats sluts.
@MrFreedomdemocracy
Yes sir!
@MrFreedomdemocracy
The illegals will be overcrowding the hospitals if the bill is passes.
And THEY don’t even have to pay taxes!
How convienient.
@MrFreedomdemocracy
I don’t give a sh*t what the GOP hacks are doing.
Their “controlled opposition” is why Americans are so easily fooled by the 2 parties of govt.
It is a scam.
In 2012 Palin or some other looser will be saying they will change the healthcare back and fix everything just like Obama said in his campain (like ending the wars).
In turn the new prez won’t change sh*t.
midevalcheese
is your real name Medievalcheese?

Limbaugh said he will move in Costa Rica … where they have UHC. He knows he can get all the advantages (like in Hawaii UHC when he had his heart attack. All the Republican congressmen and senator have an exchange in which they can choose but we have to keep the monopoly. Most of the GOP senators had operation in the Bethesda PUBLIC hospital and Dick Army (tea bag) gave up on his Medicare to keep his public health insurance at very low costs. IT’S CALLED HIPOCRICY.
