Every Congressman, who is an M.D., does not support this bill. Howard Dean is arguably the most liberal politician in Washington D.C., and he does not support the bill.
Additionally, every M.D. I have spoken to about this issue mentioned that they are not paid fairly for Medicare/Medicaid patients (~8% of total costs). Doctors are now paper pushers, and should not have more obstacles between them and treating the patients.
This will simply create a doctor shortage and waste $1.1 TRILLION!

@az101010 Only if the bill does not pass. It applies to all non federal workers and the rest have to buy insurance. How will you get out of it?
maybe YOU have to have health insurance-but i don’t.. and i will NEVER allow a stupid liberal to force me to buy anything..

Let me get this straightWere trying to pass a healthcare plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesnt understand it, passed by a congress that hasnt read it but exempts themselves from it. To be signed by a president that also hasnt read it , and who smokes. And the funding will be administered by a treasury chief who didnt pay his taxes, all to be overseen by a surgeon general that is obese, and funded by a country thats broke!

well there are great things we have that are socialized: highways, mail, schools, fire dept, etc. They make enough to pay their workers and epuipment and dont break us. I just think the gov’t is twisting socilaism with this health care, making sure we are broke and they get substantial profits. they want yet another shield over our eyes, another worry so we take focus from solutions. yeah we are idiot taxpayers we let them do it all.
The public should be allowed to view this bill, along with every bill, and give opinions about what it should be. all of this back and forth here and there BS doesnt work for me. their only interest is their growing pockets.

What obama and this health care bill are doing to our county is unconstitutional and show just how anti american the demo party is. These people are not americans and in fact are more of a threat to our Nation then any terrorist. One if by land two if by sea…
President Obama and his administration said if Health Care Reform is not passed, Medicare and Medicaid will blow a hole through our budget. This means, Obama and our government cant even properly administer Medicare and Medicaid, not to mention the entire federal budget. How can we expect them to be able to run National Health Care?
The current National Health Care Reform Bill is unconstitutional, for it outright takes away individual liberty and freedom as guaranteed by the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.
It doesn’t conform to any other successful working models of Health Care used by other Nations.
It will begin with an immediate increase in taxes, but it will not begin to provide services for over 3 years from now.
PATRIOT Howard Dean, MD, practiced medicine throughout his terms as VT Rep, 1982, & Lt. Gov (1986)~became Gov 1991~was elected to FIVE 2-yr terms 1991-03~was 2nd longest Gov of VT~served as Chair of Nat’l Govs 1994-95; & as Gov, pd off much of VT public debt~balanced budget 11 times~TWICE lowered Income Tax~~oversaw expanding Dr. Dinosaur to ensure health care for VT kids/expectant moms! He is a PATRIOT unlike the POTUS.
The health care bill is a smoke screen, as to keep us idiot tax payers from seeing how they are leading us into Socialism.
What an irony–that Joe Lieberman may be the one who saves us from this sucky bill.
Howard Dean’s present pro-GOP position (vote against the bill) reminds us of Dean’s intemperate scream that jettisoned him from the Presidential race in 2004
