Well, not everyone I guess.
Just, basically what’s up with the Healthcare Bill?
How come the majority of the people are extremely mad about it?

- Medicare Tax? Health Care for the Elderly? Let’s look at the facts about the proposed Medicare Tax … and a medical care program for the aged that already exists! What’s the hurry here? The supporters of the proposed Medicare Tax would have you believe that passage of this controversial bill is urgent … that persons over 5 are deprived of needed medical care because they can’t pay for it. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Kerr-Mills Law, passed by Congress in 1960 – enabled individual states to guarantee to every elderly person who needs help the health care he or she requires. We call this health program … Health Opportunity for the Elderly. Thousands of people every day are being helped by its generous benefits. And unlike Medicare, which would substantially increase your Social Security Tax payroll deductions, existing programs are being paid for now by a part of your present tax dollar! Medicare? NO. Health Care for the Elderly? YES! ….. 1964 American Medical Association Ad, A5157.

They’re not sure why they’re mad. Only that the talking heads on Fox News and loud mouths on the radio told them to be.
Some think that economy supposed to be the primary concern, they do not understand that health care reform is one of the preventive measures from another economic disaster.
I’m still confused about it. I read about it and it seems fair but most people don’t think it is. =/
Because Congress did not openly and honestly debate it, trying to get what was best for America. O-bey-me wanted it passed NOW! {At one point he even said to stop the debate.} If George Bush (R) had requested the exact same bill, the Democrats would not have been so eager to sign it, proving it could be better.
Only 50 weeks to redo 50 years of health care? And the congress did not listen to the people. Even AARP told Congress “America” wanted HCR, but they did not really know because they never polled me, and I was against it. {They could have easily taken a poll with a post card insert in their magazine.}
Congress never discussed the real cost, who would pay for it, or PROVE that happy employees would be able to keep the insurance they have. [Never believe a government promise. Especially when they say money will be saved and taxes will go down.] Companies are always looking to cut costs, and this will be one way ( hire less workers, lay some off, and / or cancel their insurance.)
Obama lies by omission and political maneuvering. He is “truthful” when he says illegals cannot sign up for this subsidized health care, but everybody forgets that he will put them on the fast track to citizenship so they can get this health care for free and get American jobs, while real Americans are dying in Iraq-nam.
What does college loans have to do with health care reform? Yet there it is in the bill, either as pork for someone or to win votes, or to give Obama another “win” (or all 3). Did you notice how the Democrats pulled out this 11 year old puppet Marcelus Owens and had him cry on cue that he wants HC so someone else’ mother won’t die to garner sympathy votes for a bill that might not fly on its own. Actually, his mother got treated without health care insurance every time she went to the hospital so Health Care Reform was not an issue.
There is more, but I think you get the idea.
