Irving, Tex. (PRWEB) March 20, 2012
Anthem College in Irving will host a Spring Open House throughout the day next Wednesday, March 28, beginning at 9 am.
The College offers education and training for students interested in entering a career in healthcare. It recently expanded its program offerings, adding Associate of Applied Science degree programs in Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, and Surgical Technologist.
Anthem College also offers Diplomas in Basic Massage Therapy, Dental Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, and Surgical Technologist.
It seems like spring is a time when people consider where they have gone, and what they have done, says Campus President Steeve Dumerve. So our Spring Open House can be a good start for someone who is thinking about going to college and considering an allied health career. We are particularly well-suited for adult students who have busy schedules and have jobs or family responsibilities.
Anthem College is dedicated to helping students succeed, Dumerve adds. We have Student Services staff who help students get the assistance they need to stay in school, like identifying childcare, housing, transportation, even part-time work. Students can access tutoring services on campus as well.
Career Services are another big draw for students. Career Services staff teach them how to search for a job, how to interview, even how to dress for the interview. Staff also reach out to local healthcare employers for Externships required by most programs and for employment. (Massage Therapy students complete rounds in a supervised clinic onsite at the College).
In fact, Anthem College offers a Graduate Quality Warranty that guarantees graduates are prepared to handle entry-level responsibilities in their careers.
Anthem College is located at 4250 N. Beltline Road in Irving, just east of Highway 161. For more information and to RSVP, call the College at 972-871-2824.
