You’ve heard lots of reasons to be against healthcare reform, and most of them are TRUE, regardless of the denials from the White House.
But here is one solid reason why we CANNOT do healthcare reform:
Look at a dollar bill in your pocket if you are lucky enough to still have a job, and have one to look at.
That dollar bill has lost 20-30% of its value since Obama took office. That Bill is like stock; it is stock in America.
If you had stock with a company that shows signs of failure, what would you do? You would SELL YOUR STOCK and get rid of it before the company FAILS. This is exactly what China and other Countries are doing with our American dollars RIGHT NOW.
China is buying up commodities – raw materials including gold and silver and they are using American dollars to do it.
Why? Because they want to get rid of those dollars before America FAILS.
WE ARE SPENDING TOO MUCH MONEY. WE ARE IN DEBT AND OTHER COUNTRIES WANT OUT BEFORE
WE IMPLODE. Nice work, Barack. We should never have put an inexperienced community organizer into such an important position as head of the free world. but here we are……
What happens as China and other Nations are flooding the markets with American dollars? The VALUE of those dollars FALLS. And folks, its falling……we are in very bad shape right now in the eyes of the world. Investors are looking to other Nations to invest in rather than America.
Barack Obama either does not know what he’s doing, or else the decline of America’s economy IS ON PURPOSE AND BY DESIGN. This is the same Obama who stated years ago that if the system was overwhelmed with expense and entitlements, the free market system would implode. He said within that destruction could be found a
way to rebuild America into a new Country.
Whatever you believe or choose not to believe about Barack Obama, our dollar is on the fast-track to garbage.
Evidently all that HOPE wasn’t meant for America’s financial standing in the World.
If you are in the stock market, GET OUT. Right now every dollar you have is worth substantially less than it was worth last year.
WE CANNOT DO HEALTHCARE REFORM BECAUSE IF WE DON’T STOP SPENDING IMMEDIATELY, WE WILL NOT HAVE AN AMERICA TO DISCUSS ANYMORE.
The spending has got to stop as a matter of dire emergency. Nothing should be spent except military and defense, and infrastructure necessities, PERIOD.
If we don’t stop this crazy spending, we may as well face the fact that we haven’t begun to see hard times yet…..its not gonna be pretty, either.

Regulate the health care insurance industry and leave the government option out for now. The Federal Reserve made our dollar worth 95% less in the World, not just Obama.

There is not one single reason not to have health care reform. There are many reasons why ObamaCare health reform is a can of worms.
The greatest gauge of all is when the lawmakers exempt themselves from the very law they created. That is a can of worms ObamaCare.

Medicare – impending bankruptcy.
Medicaid – impending bankruptcy.
Anyone who honestly believes that the government takeover will slow the cost is badly mistaken. It will simply result in all but the rich getting substandard medical coverage.
Zero and his collection of Socialist clowns are making a power grab. Nothing more.
Simple! NONE of us, have the money to pay for it. The buck doesn’t stop with US, this thing will be passed down from generation to generation. THAT’s what’s wrong with this phantom Plan of Obama’s. I say phantom, cos that’s what it is!! It has no substance. We can’t touch it, we can’t read it, it just doesn’t exist! If foreigners have any sense at all, they will leave, or they will be caught up in Obama’s web!

Well, a reform could mean less money for the rich elite.. and you know that would make them very sad.
Because it gives way too much personal liberty to the government.
Libbies are all about freedom of choice. Well, I choose not to have insurance, and now I get to pay $3800. Some choice, huh?
I believe you answered your own question to which I fully agree with you. The current form of Government-run healthcare reform should NOT occur especially since the Government has shown that they cannot run anything efficiently and there is no solid reason to believe that they have magically developed that capability now and could apply it to healthcare.
However, I would favor a very simple form of healthcare reform with that being tort reform, removal of restrictions between States for healthcare insurance shopping, and a method to allow lower cost healthcare insurance to those in need. Other than that, leave the rest of us the hell alone!
…I have some “good reasons” NOT to proceed with the current Health Care reform. …The Government can’t even run itself properly…the Post Office, The Auto Industry, The Banking Industry…ACORN ? hyper Bureaucratic waste ! A few years ago the IRS (a Government Bureau) seized a Whore-House in Nevada… The Mustang Rance. The Whore-House was run successfully for many years, producing millions in profits ! (sadly, they didn’t pay all their Tax’s so the IRS seized it and decided to let the Government run it !) …amazingly enough, in under one year, the Government ran it out of business from mismanagement ! (these IDIOTS can’t even run a Whore House) and you think “they” can run National Health Care ?

One simple reform might be to discover why Medicare and Medicaid pay 30% to 100% more than the average Joe on the street for everything they buy.
Universal Health Care is indeed possible and workable.
Many who are in favor of it point to Europe as the successful model. We can argue over the level of that success but, let’s set that aside for the moment.
Where does the US spend most of its money aside from entitlements?
Defense! We spend 4.9% of our GDP on NATO while our ‘partners’ ( I call them our frenemies) spend 2.5% and dropping.
All we would have to do is pull out of the obsolete NATO, diminish our 735 bases in 150 countries around the world, hand the defense of our ‘frenemies’ back to them and spend the money on ourselves.
Some European leader, Barry says, asked our president to explain the debate over health care in the US. He just didn’t understand it. Allow me to explain it to him. His country uses the peace dividend, the defense dividend and the technology dividend that the United States of America provided his marginal country that he uses on his Universal Health Care plan. If we withdrew that umbrella of security and they had to provide it themselves, they would learn very quickly what the debate is all about.
I say we give them the opportunity of that experience.
Isolation NOW!
Turn all those military bases into floating and flying platforms for interjection if needed.
Tear up defense treaties and stick solely with defense cooperation agreements that do not guarantee their antagonists are our enemies.
Deploy a fully functional missile defense shield over the US and any other country or region willing and able to PAY us for it.
Seal the borders and shut down immigration completely for at least 10 years until a rational immigration policy can be formed. Norway is now the number one place to live, according to the UN. Why? Because you have to demonstrate your quality before you are allowed to live there. They have a strict immigration policy that they maintain by refusing to become full memebers of the EU. They are isolationists who have kept their population down to less than that of the New York Metropolitan area alone.
Get this all done and we can give free medical care to any US citizen and never feel any economic pain.
Health care reform – fine.
Government takeover – just powergrabbing intending to benefit government only….obviously, not fine.

I am always amazed how many Americans seem not to be aware about the real healthcare issues relying instead on FOX and other sources to spread lies about the healthcare system of the USA and those abroad. I mean, if healthcare in nations with universal coverage is so bad, why do they keep it?
Obama wants to make insurance more available to all and change the system so that it gives the American people value for money [1]. He also wants change so that the insurance companies find it harder to get out of paying for treatment. The system he is proposing looks similar to that which works in Taiwan where private companies are involved in providing healthcare [2].
Obama campaigned on reforming the healthcare system. He said he wanted to make insurance more available and he was elected by the American people to do this [3].
FACT – the US has higher death rates for kids both for kids aged under one and those under five than western European countries with universal health coverage [4,5].
FACT – American insurance companies push up prices and work to stop paying out claims on those they cover [6].
FACT – the USA spends more on healthcare PER PERSON than any other nation on the planet [7].
That means that a dead American four year old would have had a better chance of life if they were born in any western nation with universal health coverage.
If you do not like the policies that Obama was elected to bring in, he can always be voted out of office in 2012. But if you disagree with the facts, please let me know. I am always willing to learn, but please provide proof. None of those who disagree with me have been able to do that so far.
