Keith continues to tell us why the current version of HR 3590 (aka ObamaCare) does more harm than good for this country, who it really benefits, and what we can do to stop it. I thought Keith was pro-0bamacare. Practically all democrats supported this Mandatory Insurance. I guess Keith is still somewhat on the side of Libertarians -which is good.
And it’s Ironic, the Extreme Leftists Marxists will fight and even bite off people’s hands to pay the mandatory insurance. I’m sure if I tell the Marxists giving their money to me is a good thing, I bet they would do it. Though the Right isn’t much better, they love war and and big government. Anyways, great video Suits +5
I want Olbermann to run for president.
Yeah its funny how all the evil socialist countries have higher life expectancies than the US. Ah well….unfortunately events of the 20th century that threatened ‘the american dream’ mean that all anyone has to do to stop a reasonable bill is call it socialism and sit back and watch everyone lose their shit about it.
The numbers I’m talking about from the CBo were before the stupid mandate was on the table. After the mandate came up though, the public option is even more necessary.
What do you mean by obamacare then?
1. CBO expects that because employers will dump employer supplied insurance to their employees, and all uninsured will be forced to get insurance.
2. Rassmusen poll.
3. Obamacare does not equal public option. Never said it did, so no, I’m not “completely wrong”.
‘I like my insurance just fine. Like 80% of Americans with insurance’ If 80% like their private insurance, why was is expected by the CBO and others that around 120 mill would join the public option?
’60% here don’t want Obamacare’ citation?
If by ‘obamacare’ you mean the public option, you’re completely wrong, Washington Post: 57-40 in favour
ABC: 62% in favour
CNN: over 70% in favour
PCCC: 56-37 in favour
Reuters: 60-40 in favour
Suit:
Nothing I said was immature. How do you figure otherwise?
Yes, everyone has to pay taxes — the question is HOW MUCH? If you wish to pay more, go ahead — as W said, the IRS accepts checks and money orders. Since there is NO provision for opting out of Obamacare, on an individual basis, how do you propose I opt out of it?
I know quite a bit about NZ, and know that they pay taxes for health care which means it is not “free”. You know better/differently?
Quit being immature. You gotta pay taxes no matter what. It’s the cost of living in a free country. I don’t mind paying a little extra to ensure that we have quality healthcare. If you don’t like it then opt out and keep paying for your private plan. But don’t act like you know more about how things are in New Zealand than someone who actually lives there. Gimme a fucking break.
Yes, dummy, everyone pays taxes. And some of yours goes towards your “free” medical care. If you weren’t getting “free” medical care, your taxes would be (wait for it) LOWER. That’s right! You’d have more of your own money! How cool would that be?
lol at your arguement wow taxes, everyone pays taxes ooooo
Viv:
Seriously, you don’t think you paid for it, or will continue paying for it for the rest of the time you live in NZ? Really? Have you heard of that thing we in the real world call “taxes”? You’re paying for it. And probably many times over. BTW, I wouldn’t have paid $75K out of pocket here in U.S., because I have insurance. And I like my insurance just fine. Like 80% of Americans with insurance here do. And 60% here don’t want Obamacare.
So much for will of the people.
well i had a corneal transplant this year…cost me nothing, seems free to me compared to the $75,000US it would of cost me in yankville
Viv:
I hesitate to engage you because you are not intelligent enough to realize that your “healthcare” is not free. Regardless, here I go.
Every country has corrupt politicians going back to the beginning of time. Many of the Dems in the Senate were bribed by our Congress and this Admin to vote for this bill in the Senate. So, even your heroes in this drama are evil.
I vehemently disagree with your characterization of the U.S. as a sludge pond, but agree it is being run by toads.
America is a sick sick corrupt violent
and dangerous country. It will destroy itself like the Soviet.
so happy i live in an ‘evil socialist’ country where we get free healthcare and politicians are not bought and sold. Well here if they do, the media points it out and they get railroaded out of office. America is a sludge pond run by toads
This is why I fucks with Keith Olbermann.
bravo
