CBO says the deficit will be reduced by 132-150 billion because the revenues generated are greater than the health care outlays. (Some experts have noted that’s a conservative, low estimate).

Obamacare is incredibly unpopular, and Democrats will suffer terribly at the 2010 election for their arrogance in foisting this garbage on us.

They are lunging in every direction, because they cannot govern, and their policies do more harm than good.

Obamacare explodes the deficit trillions of dollars, does nothing to control costs, in fact health care premiums would go up dramatically.

  • ReliableInsider:

Vote every single Senator and Congressman who opposed health care reform and weakened the bill until it’s barely reform OUT in 2010.

November is America’s opportunity to tell Republicans that their actions have consequences.

There’s no way they can deny it. If there had been no Republicans in the House and Senate, real reform would have sailed right through.

so lets see… they’re forcing people to buy health insurance, while allowing the insurance companies to charge whatever they want, then allowing the insurance companies to limit the amount they have to pay. and then on top of all that, the taxpayers have to cover the people the insurance companies don’t want anyway: old people. so it’s a win win win win for the insurance companies. awesome.

All Congressmen who feel that we don’t deserve the same quality of healthcare they receive should be voted out posthaste.

  • JayPhilosopher:

Yes, when it comes to war and killing people, the Republicans have an unlimited checkbook. When it comes to health care and saving people’s lives, the Republicans can’t find their checkbooks. All those who want to live have to kick the Republican Death Party out of the government.

Dems compromising their principles … ya gotta be kidding! And funny how we never heard about or Congress cared about a CBO score for say.. the Iraq or Afganistan wars or ANY military operation!

  • mintvagoo:

Weiner folded like a lawn chair– the Black Caucus is the only hope for forcing a public option. Otherwise they will see to it’s failure- as should be.
