In an appearance on CNNs State of the Union, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) said that Republicans are doing everything in their power to stop the Democrats government takeover of health care. Boehner noted that the Democrats 2700-page health care bill, with $500 billion in tax increases and $500 billion in Medicare cuts, has been soundly rejected by the American people. Boehner also discussed the 2010 political environment and Republicans chances of winning the House in November. Regarding ethics, Boehner again reinforced that an investigation of what House Democratic leaders and members of their respective staffs knew about the allegations against former Rep. Eric Massa is necessary. Lastly, Boehner discussed the Congress opposition to the Obama Administrations decision to close the Guantanamo Bay prison and import terrorists into the United States.

What happened to the unprecedented ‘cap and trade’ bill that Obama recently signed into office which is a job-killing machine, the plans coming to fruition in which we will close Gitmo, plans to repeal the don’t ask don’t tell. Obama is much worse than Bush and I am embarrassed to call him my president. Also his foreign policy experience is equal to that of the incompetent President Carter. Its just plain embarrassing watching him.

Don’t try to make the point that Republicans don’t have ‘our’ interests at heart unless you’re referring to your fellow socialists, in which case I would agree with you.
It is important to note that those “dillusional” (Sic) Republicans actually, for once, side on the side of the MAJORITY of Americans on this particular issue. Not only that, Obama’s policies on Free Trade, the Patriot Act, bailouts, and the wars have been IDENTICAL to that of Bush, despite his promises to the contrary.
It takes a fool to accept the same product just because it carries a different brand. I suggest you educate yourself, starting by reading the Constitution.
Am I the only one who is sick and tired of these dillusional republicans who just want to bloat their importance in the government. Even with this bill half of the 32 million they claim would now be covered will be covered by Medicare. That cost gets passed onto the states. They have done this because the goal has nothing to do with getting people better health care. It has to do entirely with getting a massive expansion of government (150,000 new government jobs).
Obama Lies is all there is to it. Up or down Vote. Are you HIGH. Obama is the Communist President created to destroy America one step at a time. He is trying to usher in the New World Order.
