This morning, Bishop Salvatore Cordileone of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oakland, California was interviewed on Fox News America’s Newsroom on the topic of the pro-abortion provisions in the Senate health care legislation. Bishop Cordileone laid out with great clarity why the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) is supporting Congressman Bart Stupak (D-MI) and his fellow pro-life Democrats. What Bishop Cordielone said is something that all pro-life people can agree on, no matter what their faith.

GRrRRRRRRRRRR at you….GOD IS REAL…..
@outlawd1 – Hate to break it to you, but chances are, your tax dollars already go to funding abortions. People who work for the government (at any level) can get an abortion. People who get government contracts and buy private insurance plans which cover abortions can get an abortion. People who make their money off of gov’t research grants can get an abortion. As long as you live in the U.S. and pay taxes, you’ll be funding some abortions. Sorry, pal.
Also, God’s not real. Cheers.
Interesting take on morality and ethics. How did he have the time from all the church cover ups to come up with all that?
you mindless bastard liberals will not kill the unborn with My Tax Dollars Do You Understand MR OBAMA – call off your dogs or you will answer to GOD ,not muhammed
I believe that the Constitution addresses a separation of Church and State. If the Church wants a say then they should be taxed like all other institutions who want a say. A woman should have the right to decide whether she wants to carry a child and should not be forced to do anything she does not want to do. What happens when they say that all women should produce a child instead of having her normal menstrual cycle simply because a child is viable just before that point?
Bishop Cordileone will be taking over after Archbishop Allen Vigneron was appointed to lead the Archdiocese of Detroit in January of this year.
The speed of the appointment may be connected with the news that the interim administrator of the diocese, Fr. Dan Danielson, was accused of blessing homosexual unions prior to being named to oversee the diocese. Thought I’d be able to find some dirt.
Thats not a bishop thats John Malcovich.
@MrMindfucker You are so right. I can not believe that the government is going to force us all to abort our babies. You know they are just trying to control the population. If there are less of us they will be able to get more control. Boehner is the man who will lead us away from all this insanity. I know this because he told me so in a dream.
Bravo Bishop Cordileone!
Fact of the matter here is that abortion isn’t about healthcare but agenda. Abortions are already stunningly easy to get but they want more thasn that.
Thank you Bishop Cordileone for always speaking the Truth!
Abortion is bad! I cant even take into consideration tossing a being I helped create into a five gallon bio hazzard bucket!
