    @hadtohappen Not racist- just different.

  • beancube2008:

Just results of the market, our journalists focused too much among spectrum of populations. Also, Journalists desired themselves as weapons, not unbias independent historians. Historians in the past failed in reporting our real history set bad examples for jounalists for post-modern generations. Paid Hollywood played as historians failed real history by telling stories more often than providing investigated facts and analysis. Any culture is always too scarely rich for industrialized Hollywood.

  • Lonao:

    how was he racist?

  • nickcars100:

nice……i totally agree….you can trust youtube more than the news or media like

  • haierdell:

I agree, but it is also important for the online community to get their asses of their computer chairs and voice their opinions openly and not just on blogs. They too need to show up in numbers to townhalls to be heard as well.

  • qwe07:

I disagree. But seeing as your account is closed, there’s no point in going in detail. :(

  • hadtohappen:

I have lost all respect for dear old Bill. Sotomayor’s comments were racists. Newt Gingrich’s tweet was simple to the point and accurate. There is only so much ignoring reality that one can participate in before you lose credibility. Bill has drank too much soma, time for him to retire.

  • Navywxman:

darrell – Are you crazy, missed your meds, or do you just like to post nonsense? Just curious.

DO you know what it says about a person who actually buys the BS from the right-wing media after a massive track record of repeatedly lying and getting things wrong? Not much.

Bill Moyers does a great job at informing people with actual info and not fantasy, fiction, and conspiracy theories.

  • JSMTECH:

I love the fact that TV politics are starting to lose their power and that the online community is starting to take on more power.

  • KyleClarkUSA:

ABC is also a pretty bi-partisan news network like PBS. There is news and there is flashy entertaining opinions with a fact there and there.

  • KyleClarkUSA:

    ABC =D

  • ubuibiok:

just after 19:30 on, is the meat of this story….”Not” enough people are digging out the facts to what main stream media is dishing out…

  • darrellmellissa:

OBAMA HAS A MODERATE POSITION, DONT MAKE ME LAUGH. , Less rebuplicans, mybe, but a whole lot more conservitives..He is exactly what the concervites say he is. This vid is full of left winf fanticies. 1 star for content.

  • PaulLeary:

Only PBS and Bill Moyers can say it real in the media. I just hope the next generation has a Moyers saying the truth!

  • Bluzer86:

Modern Media Madness every were in every country

  • NeoAmsterdam:

Don’t forget that the media consumer is now empowered as the gatekeeper in an ever-segmenting and -fragmenting media universe.

How many people do you know who would willingly and consciously seek out opposition views? I don’t (but that’s mostly because I don’t like getting into pointless shouting matches).

So, whatever opposition voice there is ends up muted by viewers, thanks in part to the selective viewing (or, if you like, self-censorship).

It’s not PBS at fault – It’s viewers like us.

    Follow the moola…

  • TheMercilessEye:

They tread too carefully because, under the Bush administration, they were assigned a new head who was a republican shill, and who tried to shut down shows like Moyers, NOW and THE NEWS HOUR. They try to take care to present both sides of any issue…particularly since THIS administration is equally capable of doing the same thing.

  • toosinbeymen:

I’m saddened by how weak PBS has become. They tread too carefully. Real journalism can be found elsewhere but in general it’s scattered and a microscopic minority of the voices. Nearly all journalists and pundits support corporate agendas and there is so little opposition, most people have nothing to compare it to.

  • ushadrons:

The GOP, and their media supporters on radio and television, have only one agenda: To foment anti intellectualism, dis inform, coarsen, and dumb down the electorate with identity politics of the worst kind. They have fed their base a steady diet of fear and hate for years, and now the base is addicted to this pablum. They can not stop this strategy or the base will go into withdraw or starve. Most of America is unwilling to feed from their trough and are attracted to Obama’s positive message.

  • dirkcjelli:

NPR tries pretty damn hard to be accommodating to both sides, though… I’m much more supportive of Jay Rosen’s point of view.
