Public relations projects using brand journalism tactics resulted in MediaSource receiving two Best of Show awards and eight additional awards for outstanding PR work from the Central Ohio Chapter of PRSA in the 2014 PRism and Excellence Awards.
Only three Best of Show awards were given this year and MediaSource took home two. A Best of Show award was given to MediaSource for a brand journalism campaign for Nationwide Childrens Hospital that educated the public about the safety of human breast milk being sold on the Internet. The project reached a total audience of 808 million people and achieved coverage on major outlets such as NBCs Today Show, the Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, FOX News, and on major TV affiliates in New York, Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia. The multimedia release produced for the project streamed on USAToday.com. The advertising value of the project was 175 times the clients investment in the initiative.
PRSA also awarded MediaSource a Best of Show for the firms Multimedia Newsroom, which MediaSource developed as a way to deliver high quality multimedia content directly to the news media, allowing for maximum buzz for clients. In 2013, the Multimedia Newsroom contributed to an increase in media coverage and ROI for all of MediaSources clients, including a dramatic increase of 326% in exposure for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. DocbookMD, a physician-run mobile health technology company based in Austin, Texas has reached an agreement with the California Medical Association this week to expand an existing relationship with counties to become the State Associations preferred provider of HIPAA-secure text messaging for their 39,000 members.
Having access to DocbookMD means physicians across California will be able to consult with colleagues with the same ease of text messaging but without the worry of incurring HIPAA violations, says Chad Shepler, Director of Partner Development for DocbookMD. With 4 out of 5 physicians using smartphones and tablets at work, DocbookMD is fast becoming a valuable resource for physicians seeking to improve the quality and speed of patient care in hospitals and clinics across the U.S.

Question by oxford dictionary: OBAMA’S Healthcare Bill?
do you think Obama’s healthcare bill turned out to be successful? can anybody please give me exact details about pros and cons of it, PLEASE, i REALLY need it
Answer by rendarsmith
Well it passed, so I guess it was successful.
Everyone can now get health care via the public option. More people can live without injury and can get treatments.
It is likely going to cause a tax increase, and people who pay for their own health care now have to pay higher taxes for everyone else’s health care, so they feel cheated.
What do you think? Answer below!

One of the biggest consequences of Tuesday’s vote is the survival of health reform. Now that the president has won a new term, and kept a Democratic majority in the Senate to back him up, Republicans have lost any chance at repealing his biggest domestic initiative. It doesn’t mean smooth sailing, however.
