As we enter 2010, the Latino community continues to grow and increase its critical role in the further progress of our nation. The Census will surely demonstrate yet again that Latinos live in significant numbers in every region of our nation, working hard every day to improve our economy, our polity, and our society. We look forward to a decade of increased opportunity, including the shattering of more barriers like the one broken in 2009 with the seating of Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
